As the Latvian legal system develops and gradually absorbs highlights of EU legislation, competition law becomes an increasingly import area of practice in Latvia. We advise our clients on all relevant aspects of local competition law and practice, including corporate merger regulations, unfair competition and arrangements between market participants. We represent large international corporations in structuring their local activities to be in compliance with Latvian competition rules and advise various companies on competition aspects in the context of complex mergers and reorganizations. We are experienced in administrative and judicial procedures when representing clients in front of the Competition Council as well as the handling of legal claims in the court system.
